Microsoft’s Ballmer Weighs in on iPhone SDK

Microsoft’s Steve Ballmer has never been short on words, topical opinions or monkey-boy dance moves. Yesterday, the Microsoft CEO was asked about the newly-released iPhone software development kit, ActiveSync and whether Silverlight (Microsoft’s Flash-esque web technology) would be appearing on the iPhone.

Ballmer replied that the notion of SIlverlight on the iPhone is interesting, but hasn’t been discussed with Apple. He then went on to say that he welcomed Apple’s use of Microsoft’s ActiveSync technology and hinted that the 30% cut Apple will be taking via its App Store seems a bit high..
