The iPhone's speaker has never been something to sneeze at, but attempting to hold a party with it as a sound source would be an exercise in futility. 23-year-old Erik Groset seems to have solved this problem via the LiveSpeakR, an iPhone speaker that clips onto the iPhone and then plugs into the USB port at the bottom of the device.
From there, users can rotate the speakers to work with both landscape and portrait view as well as fold the device to fit in a pocket. The speakers themselves are shielded to prevent RF interference and will, according to the LiveSpeakR web site, be available sometime this summer.
A final price has yet to be announced for the unit.
