LifeProof Announces Delays for Release of iPhone 5 Case – iPA B
LifeProof, the clever manufacturers behind the wildly popular iPhone case that proves to be foolproof, recently sent out an apologetic letter to its customers notifying them that the company’s native iPhone 5 case is taking longer than anticipated to be designed and delivered to the public.
The company’s CEO, Gary Rayner said in an email that LifeProof has an “army of engineers working 24/7 on three continents” in order to get the much-awaited product into customer’s hands. For those customers who are waiting for the release of the iPhone LifeProof case, the actual product should warrant the painstaking delay – after all, it is the only case out there that is waterproof, shockproof, dustproof and snowproof while also maintaining a surprisingly thin form.
We here at iPhone Alley were absolutely delighted by the LifeProof case for the iPhone 4S and iPhone 4. It exceeded our expectations by miles and didn’t fail to satisfy one bit. Hence, we’re on the very tips of toes bent over in anticipation for the iPhone 5 case to be rolled out to the public.
You may be asking, “Why is LifeProof not yet on the market when other protective cases are?” The answer is simple: LifeProof is the only everyday case that’s water proof, dirt proof, snow proof and shock proof − which means we won’t design a product with gaping holes over the camera, microphones and speakers just to rush a case out the door. Without these protections, other case makers avoid any technical complexity in getting their cases ready.
At LifeProof, we make a promise to our customers to deliver the best case possible, even if it means our case takes a little longer to get to you.
Additionally, all LifeProof cases need to pass thorough independent lab testing to meet Military Standards for shock and impact protection, and for IP-68 water, dirt, and snow protection. Our team is working with total dedication and urgency because we believe this is worth getting right.
On a positive note, Rayner expects the case to begin shipping sometime by next month. For those who are eagerly awaiting its availability, LifeProof will notify customers who sign up here to be notified when the case becomes available for purchase.
As iPhone Alley makes its transition to a substantially brand new format that aims to cover the entire spectrum of the iOS universe, complete with a vastly unique resurfacing and an expanded team, we will go into overdrive on news in a slightly-more condensed style with just as much exclusively-iPA comedic zing, up until the official relaunch. Note that the format of iPA B(Breakdown) articles have no bearing on the immensely distinct iPhone Alley Spectrum redesign.
