Kensington Announces Battery Pack for iPhone & iPod touch

Kensington announced today its Battery Pack and Charger for iPhone and iPod. Kensington has also announced a Mini version of the battery. Both versions are designed to provide additional power for your iPod or iPhone. The Mini, which retails for $49.99, plugs directly into the dock connector of an iPhone, iPod touch, or iPod, and is small enough to stay attached throughout the day. The larger version, which retails for $69.99, connects via a USB dock cable and provides additional power over the Mini.

Neither is as stylish as the $99 Mophie, but they both pack in more power and a smaller price tag than Mophie's Juice Pack. The Mini version extends music play time by up to 30 hours, 6 hours for video, and 3 hours for talk time. The full-sized gives a whopping 100 hours of additional music play time, 21 hours of video, and 6 hours of talk time.
