Jailbreak Coming Soon for iPhone Update v1.1.1 [Update: Images]

Early this morning the iPhone Dev Team made some significant progress in hacking the latest iPhone update. According to TUAW's Erica Sadun, the team has managed to find a way to jailbreak iPhone Software v1.1.1. Jailbreaking allows access to the iPhone's filesystem and is the first step to adding third party applications.

Currently the team hasn't refined the technique well enough to release a tool, but when they do, we'll keep you informed.

what about the sim error, that we all are getting due to the unlocking using "ANYSIM"..dont f***ing forget s***

If you're not a listener of the Adam Carolla show then you wouldn't be expected to know this, but I thought it would be worth passing along... (and you should start getting the podcast if that is the case.) It's actually a better insult to call someone a douche nozzle versus a douche bag. If you're using an iPhone to comment, there's this feature where they will replace typos with best guesses. Try it, it's fun.
