iStat App To Let You Check Computer’s Stats Remotely From iPhone, iPod Touch

iSlayer, the guys that made the iStat Pro desktop widget for the Mac, is working on an iPhone version. The widget shows you everything you need to know about what your computer is doing, including network speeds, CPU and RAM usage, fan speeds and internal heat readings. iStat for your iPhone lets you check those things when you’re not by your computer.

TUAW got to take a look at the app, and from what they say it sounds pretty sweet. Once you install the iStat Server desktop app onto the computer (Mac OS X 10.4 or higher) you can read all of the stats for the computer right on your iPhone.

The app connects with Bonjour when on a local network with a computer name and password, or by entering an IP address and port number as well when you’re not on the network.

You can learn more about the app and see some screenshots at TUAW.
