iPhone OS 3.1 Beta 2 Breaks Tethering Hack
Those of you on AT&T’s network that have decided not to wait for AT&T to offer a legitimate tethering solution and modified your IPCC files to enable tethering on your devices might not want to get too comfortable just yet. TUAW reports that the OS 3.1 beta 2 that was just released to developers breaks the tethering hack. This means that after OS 3.1 hits, you won’t be able to tether on AT&T’s network without their permission. Hopefully they will announce tethering plans soon, but don’t hold your breath.
