iPhone Notes Syncing Confirmed to be Included in Leopard

in

Mac OS X 10.5 "Leopard" hits on October 26th and the first compelling reason to upgrade has just been confirmed: iPhone Notes Syncing. According to the guys over at The Unofficial Apple Weblog, Leopard will include a note syncing feature to send appointments, etc. to the iPhone.

The feature will be integrated into Mail 3.0 and the notes folder will essentially behave like an e-mail mailbox, allowing users to retrieve notes from any Mac or PC via an iPhone. This may or may not require a .Mac account, which is also mentioned on the Mail 3.0 features description page.

Take a look and if you have anything to add, let us know in the comments or forums.

This is a wanted and needed feature. I am guessing this means there will be some sort of software update by the 26th in order to make iPhone compatible with Leopard.

Not Anymore!
