iPhone Developers Camp to be hosted by Adobe in San Francisco July 6th-8th
Well folks, iPhone Developers Camp that we mentioned in a previous article has finally found someone to provide a location for the event! It turns out that it is going to be hosted by none other than Adobe in the San Francisco Adobe Office early next month. They were also fortunate enough to snag an interview with the conference's founder and Open Source Industry Analyst with The 451 Group, Raven Zachary.
Zachary said that, odd as it might seem that Adobe is hosting the iPhone Developers Conference in light of it's initial lack of flash capabilities, there is a logical reason for them to do so. Adobe always has strived to be at the front of development, on as many platforms as possible. It only makes sense that they would want to host the event. there is speculation that they will be giving a demonstration of Dreamweaver CS3 as a solution for designing iPhone web apps. Said Adobe:
“[…] It’s important to note that our relationship with Apple continues to be strong. It would make sense for them to use Flash on their phone given their desire to have a great mobile experience for their users.”
