iPhone Camera Is As Popular As SLRs On Flickr
Flickr has once again posted the statistics for which cameras are the most commonly used on the photo sharing service. Not surprisingly, their Camera Finder now shows the 2-megapixel iPhone as being as popular for taking the photos uploaded to the site as the digital SLRs like the Canon EOS-40D, Nokon D80 and others. Needless to say it’s much more popular than the other smartphones, maintaining a wide lead over the N95.
The popularity of the iPhone as a device for uploading photos may be due in part to the increasing number of apps that make it easier then ever to upload photos to one’s Flicker account, as well as the the obvious increasing number of iPhones.
