Submitted by Edward Kirk on June 11, 2009 - 6:14pm.

With the launch of the new iPhone 3G S still more than a week away, the first unboxing photos of the device have already hit the web. The Chinese branch of Engadget has posted photos of the new 32GB device, showing it's familiar exterior and compass and voice control applications. Photos after the break.

and yeah, matte would have been nice, but SHINY dude?!
You never know...
Why didn't just hold back the iphone 3g until you can get a better processor? I mean this REALLY makes me angry, i just cant dish out $400 every day! I think that if att won't subsidize for past 3G owners (which apple must have known) then we were just a tool to make this device popular and now we are paying the price for being early adopters. If anything im never going to get another iPhone until mine gets TOTALLY outdated, when like when i cant even run the apps. Only then will i subject myself to the torture of yearly updates. Maybe i'm only saying this because I don't have the dough at the mo' but maybe i just realized how that if apple waited a couple of months to roll out the 3G, it might have been "s" for speed from the start!
Angry 3G owner out...
oh and yea matte would have been sick
