iPhone 3G Goes On Sale At Best Buy

iPhone 3Gs went on sale at Best Buy stores across the United States last night, making it the first company in the nation to offer the device other than the service provider AT&T or manufacturer Apple Inc. It is suspected that the agreement between the two companies was an attempt to relieve the long lines at Apple and AT&T stores.

A page touting the iPhone 3G’s features, like 3G speeds, Microsoft Exchange support, Maps with GPS, and the App Store, as well as a page of accessories, were added to Best Buy’s website.
