iPassword Brings Web Form Auto-Fill To iPhone

The people at Agile Web Solutions have announced that a new feature in the popular bookmarklet utility 1Password that uses bookmarklets to add auto-filling of online forms to the iPhone is now available. The new feature works by creating a new bookmarklet that matches the page in MobileSafari.

One question many have about the new 1Password is the issue of security. 1Password saves it’s data using “448-bit blowfish encryption”. You set up a password for the bookmarklet and 1Password. Data outported to the iPhone is all in an encrypted format and synced via iTunes’ “Sync Safari Bookmarks option”.

This is a great solution for those iPhone users out there that have multiple accounts for online services that you often access from your iPhone.

You can purchase 1Password from their home page.
