iPad Arrives in Five Days at Apple Stores, Best Buy

Earlier this morning Apple sent out a press release confirming that both Apple and Best Buy are opening their retail doors at 9 a.m. on Saturday for the big iPad launch. If you didn’t pre-order an iPad earlier, the delivery date for orders placed today is currently April 12, so standing in line at either your local Apple Store or Best Buy could be your only option to have the device in your hands on Saturday. All three Wi-Fi only models will be available, though there has been no indication of the quantity each store will have on hand. The Wi-Fi + 3G model of the iPad will not be available until late April.

Customers who buy an iPad at an Apple retail store can take advantage of a free Personal Setup service to help them setup and customize their new iPad. The service assists users in setting up their email accounts and loading apps on to the iPad. Apple will also be hosting several iPad workshops to help customers learn more about the iPad.
