iPad 3 Release Date Confirmed on Apple’s Part
Next Wednesday was the rumored date for the iPad 3. Though the evidence that had been uncovered was convincing, the release of the purported bigger brother to the current iPad 2 had not been set in stone by the Cupertino-based company themselves. However, Apple has now began to send out invitations to their media event that will, in fact, take place next Wednesday the 7th of March.
Most rumors state that the iPad 3 will feature a retina display among other things. We’ll have an article up soon regarding those. However, the event will take place at the Yerba Buena Center for the Arts in San Francisco on March 7th promptly at 10 AM PST.
Solely based on the picture that was attached to the invitation sent out today, the iPad 3 will be something of significance. As you can see, in the same picture as above embedded below, Apple’s tagline this time around is “We have something you really have to see. And touch.”
The above line makes up believe that the retina display will materialize, kudos to the “see” portion of the line and also the device will have some sort of new touch capability. We could be wrong though as the “touch” portion may simply signify that the event will be the introduction of a new iOS device.
Regardless of any speculation, make sure you’re checking in with us here at iPhone Alley next Wednesday to whet your appetite about anything revolutionary that goes down – well, anything at all really.
