HTC Ad Focuses On Touch Features, Wishes It Was An iPhone

in

In an attempt to spread awareness of their brand name, HTC has aired their first big ad in the U.S. The add attempts to compare the HTC Touch with the iPhone, focusing primarily on it's touch screen capabilities. Unfortunately for them, this might prove to do them more harm then good, considering the HTC Touch is probably not their strongest device. Video after the break.

I like it

Its a decent video but I do receive the message and the music and imaging choices were wonderful.

lame

someone needs a new ad agency.

I thought it was cute. I like the HTC touch; too bad it's Windows.

Wait!

I Am Naturally Inclined To Say This Sucks (being That Im An Apple And Nintendo Fanboy)...but Seriously, It Sucks.. Why Do The Competition Always Have Negative Things To Say About Companies Like Apple And Then Go Right Ahead And Copy Them? Its Kinda Silly. This Commercial Is So Iphone-like...i Love How They Added Their Logo Like How Apple Does With That Lil "ding" Sound At The End..very Cute...just Remember, The Ugly Sister Nevers Shines.

no features

I like how they didnt display anything that the phone can do, no features nothing.

Lmao

heres the link for the sorry features http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uGjnFWPKmF4 ...too funny

Good points. I didn't notice the aforementioned "ding" until you brought it up. Also, the way that the person does something on the phone and then pulls it up to their ear is SPOT ON. Let's not forget that the music is very simple like the Orba Squara song in the iPhone ad. *shrug*

I thought the ad was 'clever'.... but, like someone said before me, it didn't really show you any features. I haven't used the HTC touch, so I am not going to make any judgements about it, I just know my iPhone does the job.... and does that job very well
