Head Over to Walmart Tonight to Purchase the New iPad
In an article posted by Insanely Great Mac, Walmart has publicly issued a statement regarding the available of the new iPad, which was announced last Wednesday by Apple and began its preorders that same day. If you missed the opportunity to get your hands on the highly improved iPad 2 predecessor, thankfully your local Walmart will have a few.
The new iPad didn’t leave a whole lot to be desired after it was announced last week in California. Among the added features, is a greatly improved retina display with twice the amount of pixels than its older brother (the iPad 2), an improved processor to cope better with optimized artwork, a 5MP rear camera and a few other notable things.
Walmart has said the following:
“If you want to be the first person amongst your friends and colleagues to have the new iPad, you will need to head to your local Walmart. Starting at 12:01 a.m. local time on March 16, a limited supply of the new iPad will be available at your local 24-hour Walmart. Other retailers’ doors don’t open until 8 a.m. local time, so you can get to work on time and beat the rush by coming to Walmart.”
Yup, your local Walmart, considering it’s open 24 hours a day and you’re in the United States, will be offering the iPad a full 8 hours before Apple themselves launches the device (at 12:01 AM and 8:00 AM, respectively). You shouldn’t have trouble finding a Walmart; it seems they’re at the corner of every road.
