Gorillapod Go-Go Holds Your iPhone In Place In Style

The Gorillapod started out as a small, flexible, grippy tripod for holding cameras. It's tentacle-like rubberized gripping arms can be twisted and contorted to hold a camera steady just about anywhere. Now they have adapted it to fit other things, among which are the iPhone and iPod touch. They call it the Gorillapod Go-Go.

There are a couple of different methods for securing devices to the Gorillapod Go-Go. It comes with a mini tripod adapter for things like cameras, a suction cup for attaching it to smooth surfaces, and two long-lasting sticky pads that adhere to the object.

The new Gorillapod Go-Go is $35 and comes with the four mentioned adapters. You can order it at Joby's website.

I have bought one of these with the intention of using it as an iPhone stand. I didn't want to stick a sticky mount on it permanently so I thought the suction cup would work... but it doesn't.

Not sure what it is but the suction cup holds it for some time then the iPhone eventually falls off. It's quite fragile even if it's held in place. A simple knock can dislodge the cup mount.
