Google Voice Search Still Not Here, Apple To Blame?

Google’s planned launch of their voice search app for the iPhone this weekend didn’t happen as promised, causing speculation that Apple may have put a stop to it themselves. We waited all weekend to see it, but it was a no-show. Google even took down the demo video from YouTube.

Nobody really knows why the app didn’t launch, but some suspect that it was Apple’s doing, possibly in anticipation of the search engine they are rumored to be working on themselves. There’s been some talk lately about bad blood between Google and Apple, possibly relating to their Android mobile phone line.

Note: This is all just speculation. Nobody really knows what’s going on and nobody who would know has said anything yet. We’ll keep you updated.
