Google Announces New AdWords Options For iPhone
The Google Mobile team announced earlier today that they are now allowing AdWords advertisers to display their desktop-formatted image and text advertisements on any mobile handset with full HTML-capable browsers, including the iPhone and iPod touch, with no need to create mobile advertisements or mobile landing pages.
The ads will have similar benefits to the mobile ads, including mobile-specific calls-to-action like dialing a phone number or looking up a location. Developers can also now create ads exclusively made for displaying on the iPhone as well.
AdWords members running mobile ads will see no affect to their ad campaign.
