Get Discounts With Apple’s Back to School Special
As was widely speculated this morning, Apple has launched its annual Back to School program for the year of 2012. Education discounts are available for most new Mac machines and also for the new, third-generation iPad device.
Apple loves to give significant discounts to its student customers. Thus, they’re offering discounts on their whole line of Macs as well as the new iPad. Additionally, purchasing a Mac will secure the buyer a complimentary $100 gift card while investing into the new iPad holds a $50 iTunes gift card in store for the customer.
In order to be eligible for the discount, Apple requires the following: “you must be a college student, a student accepted to a college, a parent buying for a college student, or a faculty or staff member from any grade level.”
You can literally save hundreds of dollars when purchasing said devices if you’re in school or fit any of the other aforementioned criteria. The iMac, MacBook Pro, MacBook Air, Mac Pro and new iPad are all part of the Back to School program – refurbished devices will, unfortunately, not count.
The newly announced MacBook Pros don’t come cheap. In fact, the entry-level machine is prices at $2199. Take advantage of the Back to School promotion if you want to save some money.
Apple has stated that the Back to School promotion will stretch until September 21st. You’ve got time but don’t dwell if you’re a 2012 highschool graduate or are currently in college – start the year off with a brand new Mac or iPad.
