Controlling Surveillance Cameras WIth The iPhone

Here's something cool. Alex Bratton and the gang at Lextech are working on a cool little project that will turn your iPhone into something that James Bond might use. They're working to pair an iPhone to a surveillance system, letting you use the iPhone's touch screen instead of the standard joystick or mouse.

You can pan around by dragging your finger on the screen, and you can zoom in and out by pinching and reverse-pinching, just like zooming in on a photo.
