Concept: Palm Emulator For iPhone, iPod touch

StyleTap, the people who make software for Windows Mobile handhelds that let them run Palm OS applications, have created an emulator of the Palm OS for the iPhone/iPod touch, as well as a video in action (after the break).

The emulator seems to run fairly smoothly based on the video, but StyleTap goes out of their way to make the point that this is "NOT a product, nor is its presence here a commitment of any kind, express or implied, that StyleTap Inc. will ever release an official version of StyleTap CrossPlatform for Apple iPhone or iPod touch." In other words, it's not even in beta yet. It's just a very nice proof-of-concept.
