According to the Korea Times, KTF, with some help from NTT DoCoMo (also the suspected iPhone carrier of Japan), still has hopes to be carrying the iPhone in South Korea in 2008. Executive Vice President of KTF, Kim Yeon-hak, says that Jobs has been playing hardball. He claims that the South Korean market is small, and without a Japanese partnership, he might not even bother with releasing it in Korea.
