Talk of the movie download service in iTunes really gets around. The New York Times claimed to have found out from inside sources that multiple studios would be announced at the Macworld 2008 keynote. Now, Variety claims that sources of their own who say rentals will cost between $2 and $5 for a 24 hour period. After 24 hours is over, the file would self-destruct. This is considerably shorter than the previous 30-day rentals that were expected.
They don't mention specific sources, so this may just be speculation on their part.

Isn't it obvious that someone will find a way to crack the 24 hour limit to oh say like no limit at all?
