AT&T CEO Hints At Possible End To iPhone Exclusivity

While he didn’t say it outright, AT&T Mobility CEO Ralph de la Vega gave the strong impression to reporters today that their exclusive deal with Apple as the official carrier of the iPhone in the US is soon coming to an end. The statement came as a response to questions about what AT&T would do if they were no longer the exclusive carrier of the iPhone.

“We have a legacy of having a great portfolio…that will continue after the iPhone is no longer exclusive to us,” de la Vega said. “We think we will continue after the iPhone…to drive [results]….”
