AT&T To Offer MMS At No Extra Charge With Text Message Plans

iLounge has noticed that according to a list of frequently asked questions posted online by AT&T (PDF), MMS messages will be offered "at no extra cost to customers with a text messaging bundle". Our guess is that it will also be available to users without a text messaging plan, but at a higher per-message (or possibly per-file size) rate.

Um...

YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY!

Wow. This surprises me (but in a good way).

gob smacked....

well...there go all my conspiracy theories.

That's a good thing. Might make it worth upgrading from my 200 text plan.

MMS?

So i updated to 3.0 but no idea how to do MMS :-( I didnt think i was that much of a n00b

You can't. I don't know who hasbeen saying just call ATT to turn on but that sure doesn't work where Im at. In fact i am told by apple and ATT that you can't even create one.

Then again I don't have a notification setting for push nor do see note syncing

I believe the response was that they didn't have it enabled because they had to manage databases.

Pretty lame excuse.
