AT&T Confirms Tethering Plans In The Works

Earlier today Apple announced that iPhone OS 3.0 would add tethering functionality to existing and future iPhones and would be available on 22 carriers at launch. Now Engadget claims to have word from an AT&T representative saying that they can confirm tethering will be available on the device at some point, but they can't announce any specifics like an availability date or pricing.

O2 prices :-(

as you can see from these sites
O2 is really looking to do their customers from behind with these prices
the tethering on top of a contract is astronomically expensive.
i wouold think at&t will be looking to do the same in the us,
i would hope that soon 3GS will be jailbroken and the hackers i have so much love for will be able to 'trick' the network into thinking the iphone is browsing, when your actually on the pc
we can only hope!
