Apple Starting High-Volume Testing Of Push Notification Service With AIM Preview

Apple has again invited developers to help with another high-volume test of the Apple Push Notification Service, this time with AIM. Developers enrolled in the paid development program are starting to receive a promo code for AOL's AIM Developer Preview, similar to the Associated Press app a few weeks ago.

The app will only install on iPhone 3.0 GM. The AIM preview will expire after seven days and developers who don't receive push notifications within 48 hours of installing the app are encouraged to report it to Apple. Email below.
