Apple Re-Launches iTunes 8 For Windows
Not satisfied with the previous version, Apple has decided that rather than simply release an update, they have re-released iTunes 8 for Windows. The move follows numerous complaints from Windows Vista users who reported getting consistent blue screen of death errors when connecting an iPod or iPhone to iTunes.
It is suspected that the issue is stemming from flawed USB drivers from Apple on Windows.
The new version offers the same features as the initial launch version, but should have fixed the BSOD error. Documentation shows that USB drivers are the only thing to be changed.
