Apple Launches '1 Billion App Countdown' Promotion Worth $13,000+

Apple announced this morning that they have already passed 900 million downloaded apps and are on their way to 1 billion. To celebrate, they are launching a promotion where people today can enter for a chance to win a $10,000 iTunes Gift Card, an iPod touch, a Time Capsule, and a MacBook Pro —worth over $13,000. To enter, all you have to do is download any app in the App Store and you'll automatically be entered to win. Or, you can submit a free entry form to enter without purchasing.

Entries are restricted to people ages 13 and over, and are only eligible in participating countries. Best of all, for every app you download between now and the 1 billionth app, you are entered for each app you downloaded, with a maximum of 25 per day per user, so get downloading!
