Apple Announces WWDC 2008
![]()
Apple announced today that WWDC 2008 will be taking place June 9-13 at Moscone West in San Francisco. Held annually, the Worldwide Developers Conference is used to showcase new Apple technologies for developers and offers hands-on labs and technology sessions. This year's WWDC will feature three "tracks" or focuses; iPhone, Mac, and IT. This is the first year that Apple has made the iPhone a primary development focus.
An interesting image was included in the invitation sent by Apple to developers which depicts two Golden Gate Bridges splitting from one. Of course, the image has some significance to what will be discussed at the conference, but it's not known what the imagery relates to. Who knows, maybe it signifies OS X being split into the Mac and iPhone platforms?
