anySIM v1.02 Released: Better, Faster, Stronger (Easier, too!)

anySIM, the open-source application which frees your iPhone from the confines of AT&T-only SIM cards, has been updated to v1.02 today. The update fixes several bugs and issues found in version 1.0, as well as significantly speeding up the overall process of unlocking your iPhone. Best of all, the application can be installed via Nullriver’s Installer.app, aka AppTapp.

anySIM can be used on any iPhone running iPhone software version 1.0.2. It’s assumed that the next software update will disable anySIM, so defer updating until anySIM is confirmed working with it.

You can download anySIM directly and install it yourself using iFuntastic or SFTP. If you’d rather use Installer.app, navigate to this link from an iPhone with Installer.app installed and anySIM will be added under “System”.
