3G Pricing Discovered On Movistar Website

The iPhone 3G has been announced for Spanish carrier Movistar, but they still have yet to formally announce pricing for the devices or for the plans they will offer. Spanish website AppleSfera.com claims to have found a webpage on Movistar’s site that lists pricing for the 8GB and 16GB iPhone 3G, as well as two plans they will allegedly be offering.

According to the page they found, the 8GB iPhone 3G will cost €99, and the 16GB will be €199. They also offer the option of two plans, called “iPhone” and “iPhone Plus”.

The “iPhone” plan is a basic data plan, which will cost €15 on top of a standard voice subscription, and provide them with unlimited data and Wi-Fi hotspot access. However, after the 200MB mark, speeds are capped and reduced to 128kbps down and 64kbps up. The “iPhone Plus plan is for more intense data users, who will pay €25 and get a whole 1GB of un-capped data.

It is believed that all plans require a two-year contract, and the minimum monthly tariff is €24, which combines the iPhone data plan with their smallest voice plan.

They also claim to have received Movistar store documentation showing the two iPhone plans as well.
