iFuntastic v3 Released: You now have permission to go nuts

The moment you've all been waiting for has finally arrived. iFuntastic version 3 is here, and chock full of new features. Of course, the biggest feature request of all has been fulfilled - support for PowerPC processors. It also includes a real file browser which allows installing apps, uploading NES ROMs, and other miscellaneous files. But that's just the beginning.

iFuntastic v2.5.0 Released: Now includes full file browser

It's about that time again, iFuntastic time, that is. There have been many requests for the next version and this one delivers some, with a twist. Aside from it's Intel-Mac only compatibility, iFuntastic v2.5.0 adds one of the neatest features yet: A full file browser. Not only does it simply browse the iPhone's internal file system, it also adds the ability to edit UI images on the fly from within the app. This can be extremely useful for those looking to customize their iPhone, and it's super easy to boot. Images, other changes, and download link after the break!

iFuntastic gets an update (again)

If you don't know already, iFuntastic is an iPhone modding GUI for mere mortals. First on the list of improvements is a "news" section of the app where changes are posted. You can rename the app to anything you like, as well. The "Home Screen" can be rearranged much more extensively and .m4p is now a recognized extension. More after the break!

bitSplit, the man that brought you iFuntastic, has released version 2.0, which improves functionality and adds some new features. If you've been living under a rock lately, the iPhone Dev Wiki hackers have been hard at work on all sorts of nifty hacks for the iPhone. Most of these hacks are for seasoned Terminal and command line users, which has likely turned off a few folks. Sure, there have been guides written, but it's still not ideal for the average user. iFuntastic is an application that aims to make it easy for mere mortals to add ringtones, change the carrier logo, and reorder their applications. More after the jump!
