Snapture To Bring External Flash For iPhone -    #1

The people who created the Snapture, the camera app that offered more advanced features than the original Camera app, have released an external flash extension for the iPhone. The Snapture Flash adds a Xenon powered flash that flashes when the iPhone takes a picture with the Snapture app.

Features:

  • Xenon flash lamp with red-eye reduction

  • 1000+ flashes on 1 charge

  • Ultra bright LED for video recording

  • Seamless integration with Snapture

  • Built-in low light detection for auto-flash

  • Lightweight polycarbonate case

  • iPhone speaker amplification

  • Sleek, ergonomic design

The device is still in its prototype phase, but it looks pretty interesting.

Having the ability to add more light to properly expose a scene is always a step in the right direction. Every bit helps.

I happened to see an amazing sunset and while my regular camera (a 10 megapixel wasn't on me), I had my iPhone. I was very impressed with the quality of the images it took. Here's one of them.http://www.hackthatphone.com/sunset.jpg
