RAZR Still Outselling iPhone -    #1

Here's an interesting statistic for you. Now that we have the iPhone and iPhone 3G, most of it's predecessors seem to be pretty low-tech and outdated, including the previous 'hot new thing', the Motorola RAZR. Still, despite already having four years on the market and widely considered old news, it's still outselling the iPhone in the US.

They haven't actually published their exact marketshare, but the researchers say that it's currently outselling every other phone in the US, including the iPhone.

Still, that doesn't make it the most successful. Motorola is making a lot less from the sale of each RAZR than they did when it was still new, and they have yet to make a successful follow-up.

Interestingly enough I had read this earlier today on rcrwireless.com also along with reading that I read about the Apple Gaining Ground In Teenage Mindshare story earlier as well. Let me write for the site haha. at least tell everyone the iphone is ahead of curve the chocolate and the pearl (in sales). O well ...... now i guess im afraid of reading something else on iphonealley that I read six hours ago, like Woz says the iPod will "die out after a while" like radios and Walkmans. who knows I just may
