 The iPhone Dev Team has just released QuickPwn 2.1 for Windows. This version can jailbreak the iPhone, iPhone 3G, and iPod touch v1 and can unlock the original iPhone. It can't jailbreak the new iPod touch or unlock the iPhone 3G. You can download QuickPwn 2.1 for Windows using bittorrent here, or use one of the direct download mirrors after the break. so i want to update to the new firmare now i do have the apt backup on my phone.... so if i update then jailbrake with the new firmare will it still download them all at once with the apt backup or do i have to start over again

anyone know how safe jailbreaking is? it wont ruin my ipod touch 1st gen will it?

Anything you screw up jailbreaking, can be restored in iTunes.

I got stuck on the WAIT FOR YOU IPOD TO CONNECT TO RECOVERY MODE... then the ipod turns off after like 15 minutes of waiting and I am still waiting. Alot of other people seem to have this problem so a solution would be nice. Help please
