With the iPhone Software Update 1.1.1, Apple added a nifty shortcut for adding a period at the end of a sentence and it made a lot of people happy. The shortcut, which is still available today, involves tapping the space bar twice which automatically places a period and a space for quick text entry.

To make things even quicker, we've just learned that tapping the space bar with two thumbs will produce the same effect as tapping the space bar twice. And while this isn't groundbreaking, we have a feeling that it'll come in handy for quite a few of you.

but hadn't tried to replicate because I thought I'd imagined it. Glad to see I didn't!

I love it . The masturbation comment that is. And yea it may seem simple but there are many things that go unnoticed to a broad group of people as far as features. I stumbled upon the save images tip a week or two ago. (i never knew about it until then) and figured I would submit the tip to help out others. Michael knew about it and still thought it was a great idea to share with others. Just because you knew something for a little while, makes you no better than others. This site is about sharing info with one another..... if you cant do that go somewhere else! No-one needs to read your pathetic comments. Go ahead and go to a playground somewhere and argue with a kid how your dad is better than theirs. I would go to imagine that even the kid on the playground is more intelligent than you. I love reading the simple tips I knew nothing about. And what would make you think that all of the millions of new iPhone adopters know every single little trick? Im pretty sure I'm more of a tech. savvy person than you and I don't know it all. But then when I sit here and think of your post that I am replying to, I suppose I am wasting my time that you in fact do know it all! Well lets see you start a iPhone site and see it to be successful.
