Will buy any iPhone Games/App that are already developed -    #1
If you have already completed a iPhone Game/App, our company will buy them.

Here are the requirements, what we will pay, etc.

1) The game must not be listed in iTunes or have been attempted to be submitted to iTunes. It can have been published on the jailbreak sites.

2) You must have the right to license your game to us for a period of 6 months. During this time, we will have the right to publish it to iTunes under the paid or free app section. You still can republish it under jailbreak type sites. But it must be under a different name.

3) We will pay $1500 plus a 65% rev share on any revenue generated. We will commit to a guaranteed revenue per game or we lose the license.

4) You will submit the name of the game or app to us, a place for us to download it to a iphone to view (jailbreak, etc), and your contact info. No inappropriate games/apps please

Please email me at nigerianprince (@) interwebz (dot) com. I will then respond with our corporate info.

I'm confused... If a developer has gone through all the work of designing, developing, etc, why then sell to you at the last moment for only 65%? Are you planning to pay to advertise or something?

Anyone that would submit to a "company" that has YAHOO for their email to me is HIGHLY questionable!

Send me the money first, and once the check has cleared, then I will send the program!

Hate being a sceptic, but smells of a twist on the Nigerian scheme

Hate people that try to diss people -    #4
It is funny. Someone posts a legitmate post and nay sayers just post responses....

1) I didnt ask anyone to ship the game without being paid.
2) I post an email address to capture legitmate inquries and then follow up properly. I didnt want to be someone spamming forums saying visit my website and then have the threads stopped.
3) PAying a few thousand for an app/game is proper. We have bought 4 games at the average cost of $1350. Many developers are now spending about 30-70 hours to create or convert an exsiting game to an iphone app. so being paid $30-$50 an hour for something they already have created is worthwhile. Most of the people are finding that they are not selling tens of thousands of 0.99 games like they thought. I have numerous people that have created a simple app like tic/tac/toe or similar games that in 3 weeks have only made a few hundred. We are not looking for someone to sell a game that they spent 1k hours on for a few thousand.

Email if you are intersted

Apple only asks 30%. -    #5
Apple only asks 30%. That leaves the writer 70%. Unless they want to give you 5% for being a nice guy?

not paid side -    #6
I dont know why I am wasting my time.

1) I am talking about games/apps that would normally be placed in the free side. So 30%/65%/70% ='s $0.

2) I am talking about lower quality games that do not receive many sales. So a few thousand from us mean more then a few hundred in sales.

Either may allow a developer to develop games and allow a marketer to promote and endore, sell the games for advertisers.

Basically what it seems to me this company is doing is contracting out the work. It's like hiring someone to cook lunch for you. You don't want to do all the work, so you go get fast food.

I can see the benefits of having many apps in your company. Ultimately, you can start marketing all your apps at once. Also, if someone likes an app from a certain company, then that person can also see what else is available from the same company (like Nullriver- I've liked all their apps). It's smart business.

That really clears it up and makes it sound like a pretty decent deal.
