Duplicate Calendars with Mobile Me - Help! - July 31st, 2008, 06:27 AM #1 |
|
Since moving to MM I have had duplicates of several calendars. I only have 5 "real" calendars and for some reason one is duplicated. I'm not sure which is the real one or how to find out. Also, in iCal there is a list of calendars and then one listed as my .Mac name? What is that exactly? The calendar listed under my .Mac name in iCal only seems to contain my "to do" items? One other thing, when setting up the mail, contacts, calendars in the iPhone I have 3 accounts, first is my "old" .Mac account which has mail, contacts, calendars and bookmarks turned on. Second is the @me account which has mail off and contacts, calendars, bookmarks turned on. If I try to turn off the calendar in the @me account it also turns the calendars off in my .Mac account and I get no content in my iPhone calendars. I am confused, can anyone explain this to me? I tried the online help from Apple but since I was not one of the 1% that had @me email issues they wouldn't talk to me! Thanks Apple! Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I had the same problem, just go to System Preferences, MM, Sign Out of the Account, then log back in. Fix everything locally on the computer, and when you sync tell .Me replace all data on .Me with info on my computer

Yamir49,
Thanks very much! I'll try that suggestion. What about the calendar in iCal that is listed under my .Mac name? What is that exactly? It seems to only contain to do items as far as I can see. Thanks again for your help. |

What I would do is merge all calendars into 1 and the sync... that way you can manage what you wanna keep or delete...

I originally set up my Curve 8330 to use the Desktop Manager for sync. Since then my company got BES. The first attempt at activaction failed.
