Windows Vista iPhone Mod?!? -    #1

I'm honestly not sure what to say about this one. It's either the most hilarious or terrible iPhone mod I've ever seen. Either way, I'm sure Steve is pretty upset, and someone really owes him an apology. See for yourself after the break. Comments more than welcome.

Ironically, this is also one of the most complicated mods you can do to your iPhone. It consists of over 90 icons, wallpapers, sound effects, and other odds and ends to really make sure that iPhone is as 'dos as possible. Since it's not in Installer.app yet, it requires a lot of tinkering, including a Jailbreak, SSH access, and SummerBoard. Instructions on how to install it can be found here, but I'm un-friending you on Facebook if you do.

The sad thing is that this is probably the best that Windows Vista has ever looked.

It's always fun watching mac addicts convulse whenever microsoft shows in the horizon. I mean no offense but you are always acknowledging microsoft, its products and its users. If apple is so good why are you always so attentive of everything the other company does? I know microsoft didn't have anything to do with this one but you take every chance to discredit the competition. I've used mac and PC for years and I prefer PC easily. Of course I like mac, its interface and stuff and I'm also aware that microsoft has always been behind apple on many things but I still would buy a PC over a mac without hesitation. I respect you all anyway but I'd like you to be more tolerant to us PC users. By the way, I'm loving my iphone that works more like a PC (it lets me customize it as I wish) than a mac in my opinion. Greets to all.

Oh, I forgot to say. In this case I don't like the icons' size in this mod. They're too big in my opinion and tend to look tasteless.

Yeah, we know . In my defense, some of my good friends use Windows. To each their own, and in my case, that means the Mac.

As a former PC user (as in, I started on an IBM in the 80's when I was 5 and stopped in 2006 when I bought my first iMac), other than that tug of familiarity, I find it hard to understand why anybody would be drawn to using Windows when OS X is light years better. I'm actually typing this on Vista right now only because I've had to borrow my dad's laptop for a trip, and while web browsing isn't too bad, the file system is simply archaic and in disarray. So you'll excuse us Mac fanatics if we quite simply don't understand the allure of the PC anymore (other than price, which I will admit I envy).

As for this mod ... :: puke :: How absolutely horrible. If the person who created it loves Windows so much, then why not buy a Windows Mobile device?
