Apple, AT&T May Launch 3G iPhone Sooner Than Expected - May 6th, 2008, 03:59 PM #1 |
An internal e-mail sent out to AT&T employees has forbidden staff from taking vacations from June 15th to July 12th due to "projected increased traffic and an exciting new promotion/product launch." Speculation as to exactly what's on the horizon has arisen, much of it pointing towards an AT&T 3G iPhone launch. The memo, in all its glory:

Apple, AT&T May Launch 3G Network Sooner Than Expected - May 6th, 2008, 05:12 PM #3 |
|
I want to clarify and/or ask a question... Headline says "AT&T may launch 3G network sooner than expected". Actually, AT&T already has a 3G network. I think it's currently available only in large metropolitan areas (it's all over Milwaukee & Chicago) so they're not launching 3G per se. They may be expanding it, however. Just wanted to put those 2 cents in.

Bad title - May 6th, 2008, 05:38 PM #4 |

AT&T "launched" their 3G network a long time ago. The speculation you're talking about is the release of a new 3G iPhone.

Title doesn't say Network that I can see - May 6th, 2008, 08:19 PM #5 |

I get tired of the rumors too.
I do look forward to a 3G iPhone. I was reading the other comments, and noticed that the title says AT&T May Launch 3G "iPhone" Sooner Than Expected. Not 3G "Network" as you guys were saying. Just an observation. Aloha |

I do see where you guys were talking about the 3G "network" now.
It's not in the title, but it is in the body of the text. Sorry. |
