Macworld 2008 Keynote Live Video Stream - January 14th, 2008, 06:46 PM #1 |
![]() Yep, we're streaming the keynote. Unlike last year's WWDC stream where it was only audio, we've actually got video as well. We've also since changed web servers so the page shouldn't got down - hopefully. The stream should start a little before 9AM PST and will continue through the entire keynote. Digg link, stream, and more info after the jump! Our stream is brought to you by the good folks at Ustream.tv. They rock! If for any reason things don't seem to be working out, MacRumors has live photo and text updates as well. Join in on the chat below. We also recommend playing Keynote Bingo. Again, the stream should start shortly before the keynote at 9AM Pacific time. Enjoy! iPhone Alley is an independent publication and has not been authorized, sponsored, or otherwise approved by Macworld, IDG World Expo, or Apple, Inc.

You really doing this!? Please, nobody Digg this article! I don't want the stream to be brought to its knees by the Digg effect!
Thank you so much for this, really, really, really looking forward to the live stream. And I'm going to be working tomorrow at that time, no less ;-) |

The perks of being one's own Boss. "Why don't you take tomorrow off so you can watch the keynote?" "Ok I think I'll do that"...

This just made my day. I always hate hearing about the announcements and then 5 hours later finally being able to watch everything. I hope the server can handle the attention that will be here.

I cracked the code - January 15th, 2008, 05:56 AM #10 |

"There's something in the air" has something to do with education and multimedia.
I think this is going to be a low cost ultra-thin pc - like the OLPC. My guesses: 1. Starbucks - why wait in line to pay, then wait in line for the drink? Consider it itunes for starbucks, you write in the info, nonfat milk, etc, then pay, thereby eliminating the delay. Starbucks is a company who does research on everything. They must have noticed by now this delay and are working with apple to make wireless easy payments and speedier service. 2. Ultrathin low cost pc. No ports or anything. Awesome accessories not included. 3. 802.11n Airport Wireless upgrade: more USB ports because network storage will be the norm. The new hub will combine an apple tv/ airport and will allow you to store 1TB or media. consider it an ipod for your house. Movie rentals, etc. This is major because you can order a movie on your iphone and watch it and it will store at home on this super hub. Like a backward Slingbox. 4. Significant software update for iphone will include video recording and google positioning. Obviously includes new SDK apple promised in FEB. |
