Firmware v1.1.2 Officially Released - November 12th, 2007, 06:04 PM #1 |
![]() While the iPhone firmware v1.1.2 has been available for download since the Europe launch and on UK and German iPhones (as well as jailbroken for some time), It hadn't been officially released in the US until today. Apple has officially released firmware update v1.1.2 in the US for download via iTunes. As far as we know it is exactly the same update as before, so there aren't any other new features since we announced it last. You can read more about v1.1.2 changes here.

I know it is usually a joke when people say this, but Safari actually does seem quite a bit faster. That is a good thing, I also enjoy the custom tone section.

Simplified unlock method. - November 13th, 2007, 10:02 AM #3 |
|
I wonder if sites such as iphonesimfree.com and jailbreakme.com will still be able to come up with an easy unlock solution for this latest firmware release from Apple. It's unfortunate they didn't listen to their customers by resolving issues such as lacking copy/paste functionality and the lack of support for Adobe Flash Player plug-in for Safari.

No remember - November 13th, 2007, 01:04 PM #4 |

No remember, we direly needed that mobile iTunes store that we can only assess through wifi, long before we would ever need the simplicity and convenience of being able to copy and paste long complicated peaces of text from one place to another as we have been able to do with computers for well over 20 years. Thank you Apple to setting our priorities straight. Maybe some day when I actually find a song that I like and am near wifi when I hear it I will be right on using the iTunes store. Once again, thank you Apple my your over complicating the simple solutions.

Yes, the feature update wait is getting old! It wouldn't be so bad if Apple hadn't taken such a hard-nosed approach toward third party software. Hey Steve, shit or get off the pot already!!!!
