Intel, Microsoft Comment On iPhone Sync Issues, No Fix Yet -    #1
For a few weeks now, users running Windows 7 (mostly the 64 bit version) on certain Intel machines have been experiencing problems with syncing their iPhones with iTunes through their PC's motherboard-based USB port or a powered USB hub. Earlier today, Intel responded to the complaints.

Users have been discussing the problem on one of Apple's discussion boards, which also has a few user-generated suggestions.

According to the chip maker, the issue seems to be with machines containing the Intel P55 chipset from Micro-Star International (MSI), Gigabyte, and Asustek.

"Our leading theory is a BIOS or system configuration issue, but we are still investigating," Intel said Monday.

Microsoft commented: "Microsoft has not seen this particular question posed in the Microsoft Answers for Windows 7 community forum, nor in any of our call centers," Microsoft told the The Register on Friday. "If we determine this to be a problem specific to Windows 7, we will post an update on the Microsoft Answers site."

Did Microsoft just say what I think they said? "if we put our head in the sand, there can't be anything wrong?"

Who want's to spend the time (long hold times) or the money (have your credit card handy) to call in for Tech Support!?!?!?!?
