Apple Working On SMS Vulnerability, Fix Coming -    #1
Yesterday we reported on a security vulnerability found in the iPhone OS that could potentially allow an attacker to gain access to your phone via a flaw in the SMS application/protocols. Today, the UK's Telegraph tells us that Apple is in the process of preparing a fix for this security risk.

Charlie Miller, who announced the flaw at a Singapore conference also said that the iPhone, despite this flaw, is still more secure than Mac OS X because of its lack of Java or Flash. Miller reportedly showed the audience at the conference how he could disconnect the device from the Internet, which could lead to more vulnerabilities.

Miller has made this vulnerability known to Apple, and the Telegraph article mentions that Apple is in the process of fixing this problem. You can read more about Miller's accounts in the article.
