Google Spreadsheets Now Editable From iPhone, iPod Touch - February 14th, 2009, 06:09 PM #1 |
![]() Google has refreshed Google Spreadsheets with the ability to edit documents from mobile devices, including the iPhone and iPod touch. With the List View in Google Spreadsheets, users can now view, edit, sort and filter data, and enter new data into spreadsheets. You can try it out by going to m.google.com/docs on your iPhone or iPod Touch, or if you already use Google Apps, by going to docs.google.com/a/your-domain. [via Google Docs Blog]

Not so nicely done - February 14th, 2009, 09:29 PM #2 |
|
I've been looking forward to this, but it's not that nice.
1. The formatting is terrible. It doesn't match the regular browser format. 2. You have to click 'Edit' to open up the line of cells. I think I'll stick to Spreadsheets (which I don't like because I have to manually back up). Also, there aren't any sharing features. Dan |
