Compile Unix tools

Has any one found out how to compile unix tools for the phone.

I do IT and would REALLY love to have some of my tools like nmap, ethereal, ect.

Can i just compile them on my mac and move them over?

Walmart is going to be selling the Apple iPhone 3G but neither company has come forward to give full details on the deal yet. The world’ biggest retailer is going to be selling the device starting this month, most likely but the dates flying around for the launch are varied, including December 15 (just in time for last minute gift shopping) or even right after Xmas on December 26. Our sources claim December 26 is the correct date.
