I bought my macbook air in may 2008 and it has mac osx 10.5.5. I did not heed the warnings and went through the pwnage process of jailbreaking my new iphone. everything went well and I entered DFU mode, then I entered recovery mode and plugged back in. itunes recognized the phone and i used the option restore to find the custom .ipsw. The file extracts and as soon as it tries to continue after extraction it gives tells me an error has occurred. Is this because of the macbook air problems or am I doing something else wrong. Thanks.
